In Barcelona Culture, Nightlife And Beaches!

Barcelona is known worldwide for its amazing nightlife (hundreds of bars, clubs and discos) and the wonderful cultural attractions. But another feature makes it even more unique: the beaches located just close to the city.

The city offers 4 km of good quality beaches, and sometimes the water is better than many other famous places both in Italy and Europe. Quite honestly, it is impossible to expect Caribbean beaches in Barcelona: the city holds 3 million inhabitants and is a lively, modern metropolis; as a result it is safe to say the beaches dont escape at least a bit of pollution, as to be expected.

The area that hosts almost all the beaches is the area of Barceloneta. Not so far from here lies the beach of Sant Sebasti, equipped with many showers, different services, assistance, tourist information and medical relief.
But the main (and most famous) beach of the area is known as Barceloneta and hosts a lot of comfortable appartamenti a Barcellona. This beach is also known because of the work of Rebecca Horn which stands right in the middle of the area. Both these two stretches of coastline can be reached by metro with the yellow line (L4), stopping at Barceloneta or Ciutadella.

Lovers of the naturist sea can find a space dedicated to their relaxation. The beach of Mar Bella is, in fact, the section devoted to this type of practice. The metro station, still yellow line, is Selva del Mar and from there is necessary a small one quarter of an hour walk. This stretch of coast is actually marked as a nudist naturist beach but actually we do not see many.

Coming down towards the Olympic City you can meet Nova Icria beach, characterized by many bars, restaurants and discos. Lovers of cycling, skating or jogging can not miss the beautiful promenade of Bogatell. The beach is very wide and the seafront boulevard gives the best of itself with the beautiful days of summer sun.

But between Barcelona beaches there is another one more beautiful (and less popular). Nova Mar Bella is, in fact, the stretch most characteristic and perhaps a little less touristy since it is not easily reachable.

In short, a summer holiday in the city can also include relaxing breaks at the sea. Book your Barcellona hotel or choose between the range of Barcellona appartamenti. After this you can start planning your vacation in the capital of Catalonia. It is difficult to choose between monuments, nightlife and beaches.

Stay In A Cozy Fajardo Inn And Enjoy Puerto Rico’s Best Beaches

There’s no reason for any American who can afford to travel to not give Puerto Rico a try. The territory, located southeast of Florida, is referred to by many jet setters as the most exciting in the Caribbean. After all, the U.S. wouldn’t have to go through all the trouble with waging the 1898 war with Spain if La Isla del Encato, or the Island of Enchantment in English, is not worth keeping.

At present, Puerto Rico remains as a U.S. territory with a strong industrial economy. Annually, it receives as much as 5 million tourists, mostly Americans via cruise ships. To fully experience the atmosphere of the islands, staying at an inn in Fajardo, the easternmost city in the island of Puerto Rico and a 45 minute drive away from the capital city of San Juan, is ideal.

Although the entire territory is blessed with biodiversity, the mangrove forest in Fajardo’s Bio-Luminescent Bay tops the list of most interesting and unique experiences in the entire Carribean. Nightly tours can be arranged through the preferred Fajardo inn where one is staying at.

The tour is an hour and a half kayak ride through the forest by the bay, where planktons glow brightly when the water is disturbed. An additional day trip to nearby El Yunque Rainforest can be arranged for as well. El Yunque is a 28,000 acre tropical rain forest that is 3,500 feet high. Be prepared for rains as the area receives more than 100 billion gallons of water per year.

Of course, no trip to Puerto Rico would be complete without enjoying a whole day spent on the beach. Fajardo’s Seven Seas Beach is a Blue Flag beach that hosts water sports facilities for snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving. For those who prefer secluded beaches, Fajardo serves as a port to Culebra archipelago, which hosts world-renowned beaches like Playa Flamenco.

Many U.S. cities offer direct flights to San Juan’s Luis Muoz Marn and travel time can be as short as 2.5 hours from Miami to 7.5 hours from Los Angeles. For more information on Puerto Rico tourism, visit seepuertorico.com.

Sandy Beaches Soften Feet

Exfoliate Naturally With Sand

Beaches are a great way to relax while soaking in the sun at the same time. What could be better than reading a book, enjoying the sound of the ocean or engaging in water activities? The only downside about the beach is all that sand. It ends up in the folds of your bathing suit, tangled in your hair and in between your toes. When you’re frantically trying to remove all the sand from your feet at the end of the day, consider this. Beach sand is a natural way to soften the feet.

Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells on the body’s surface revealing a new layer of skin underneath. This new layer of skin is softer and smoother because it has not been exposed to natural elements. Every time you walk on the beach with bare feet, you are reaping the benefits of exfoliation. This is because sand is coarse enough to help loosen the dry skin that builds up on your feet.

With exfoliation, you can:

Look Younger Your skin can tell someone a lot about your age. Wrinkled hands and feet, creases around the eyes and sagging skin are all signs of aged skin. Exfoliation reveals smooth, younger looking skin. If done on a regular basis, it can slow down the aging process.

Exude Radiance Have you ever wondered why models and actresses always seem to have a glow about them? Well, it is not all about just using makeup. Exfoliation gives skin a natural glow that you cannot get from makeup. If you suffer from dull, tired skin exfoliation is a great way to keep your skin glowing.

Feel Better, Literally You will notice a difference in the way your skin feels immediately. It will be soft to the touch and very smooth.

Be Healthy Exfoliation cleanses the skin and opens the skin’s pores. This helps to reduce breakouts and fade blemishes.

While exfoliation is beneficial, too much of it can actually dry or irritate the skin. Exfoliating once a week is a good place to start. Always follow up with a hydrating lotion to replace any moisture lost during the exfoliation process. So, if you are hitting the beach all the time, throw a bottle of lotion in your beach bag as well.

Most of us go to a salon for our foot care needs. That is probably because we do not know too much about taking care of our own feet. Being pampered at a pedicure salon can be fun, but it can also be very expensive and you probably find yourself hiding your feet in between pedicure sessions.
